The Allegheny 8 project is a 13.6 MW run-of-river hydroelectric station located on the Allegheny River.
Allegheny 8 is located 9.4 miles downstream of Allegheny 9. Both Allegheny 8 and 9 are run of the river hydroelectric power facilities located with existing federal lock and dam facilities operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers (“USACE”).
