The Allegheny 9 project is a 17.9 MW run-of-river hydroelectric station located on the Allegheny River.
Allegheny 9 is located 9.4 miles upstream of Allegheny 8. Both Allegheny 8 and 9 are run of the river hydroelectric power facilities located with existing federal lock and dam facilities operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers (“USACE”).
